R.I.P. Daul Kim

I used to read Iliketoforkmyself. It's sad. Daul was only 20 and decided to end with her life. I really don't know what to say because nothing anyone can say will make it any better. I just hope she is in a better place now. I knew her only from her blog and through her work. I will miss how she was so very open about her feelings and put every thought in her head out there. She was truly inspiring by being herself without trying to please anyone.

I really liked her and what she wrote, she wrote about happy times and about the sad  ones, as well  That was very refreshing because most fashion blogs are all about ''coveting'' items and being ''inspired'' by the latest it-designer, but if we dare to post about feeling crappy we would probably lose about half of our readers. We aren't going to walk around crying and whinning either, it's true; but we are human and we also feel alone and needy from time to time. Sometimes we openly cry for help and no one notices and I just think that is wrong.

This whole thing makes me think about life and how it is so fragile. Also on how we cannot act as if we were islands. We need each other. We need to know when to ask for help. You don't have to go through tough times by yourself, really, you don't. Don't give in to those negative thoughts. The only way out is through. You need to fight and keep on fighting. If you feel sad or depressed, please don't give up. It's not over until it's over..
